About Me
Hi, I'm John Erinjery, a 3rd-year Integrated Masters student at IISER Pune, majoring in Physics and minoring in Mathematics. I'm from the south Indian state of Kerala. My study is focused on the large-scale structure of the universe — currently, I am looking at large-scale cosmic filaments and how they impact galaxy evolution. This coming August, I'll be starting my 5th semester and diving into a research project on cosmic filaments.
I take a lot of pleasure in writing about philosophy, science, geography, and travel (some of which you can find on my Writings page, with more to come). I'm also an advocate of a healthy lifestyle — I'm a gym-goer, fitness enthusiast, and love backpacking and hiking. I journal consistently to monitor my life as thoroughly as possible.
I'm pretty inactive on social media, I like to spend time learning new things. Right now, I'm tackling Japanese and Korean (I'll most likely take the JLPT exam this year). I'm also deeply fascinated by East-Asian history and culture — diving into these topics is truly one of my favorite escapes from space. You can learn more about me through my writings, and more academic details can be found in my CV, which I will link here soon.
